01.Ternary Chalcogenide AgBiS2
Our laboratory focuses on the development of AgBiS₂-based thin-film photovoltaic materials and devices fabricated through vacuum-based processes. We investigate film-growth mechanisms, phase formation, compositional control, defect passivation, and device-interface engineering to realize efficient, stable, and environmentally benign lead-free solar cells.
02.Space solar cells
Our laboratory investigates space solar cells, with a particular focus on radiation-induced phase segregation and radiation-shielding strategies. We study how high-energy radiation affects the structural and optoelectronic stability of photovoltaic materials and develop protective shielding layers to enhance device durability under harsh space environments.
03.Water electrolysis
Our laboratory conducts research on water electrolysis, including three-electrode electrochemical measurements and anion-exchange membrane water electrolysis (AEMWE) single-cell testing. We develop and evaluate electrocatalyst electrodes to improve oxygen evolution activity, operational stability, and overall electrolyzer performance under alkaline conditions.
